The Council

The Corporate Strikers Cricket Council is the governing body responsible for overseeing, regulating, and safeguarding the vision of the Corporate Strikers ecosystem. It exists to ensure that corporate cricket under the Corporate Strikers platform is conducted with structure, discipline, and integrity.

The Council operates with a clear mandate: to establish standards, ensure fairness, and build a sustainable framework that supports long-term growth of corporate cricket in Patna.

Purpose of the Council

The Council was formed to bring order, consistency, and credibility to corporate cricket initiatives. Its role goes beyond managing events — it focuses on stewardship, governance, and the long-term health of the ecosystem.

The Council ensures that all leagues, clubs, and members operate within clearly defined principles that reflect professionalism and respect for the game.

Role & Responsibilities

The Corporate Strikers Cricket Council is responsible for:

  • Establishing governance frameworks for all Corporate Strikers initiatives

  • Defining participation guidelines and codes of conduct

  • Ensuring fair play, discipline, and ethical conduct

  • Overseeing league structures, formats, and operational standards

  • Protecting the credibility and reputation of the Corporate Strikers platform

  • Supporting sustainable growth and future expansion

The Council does not engage in on-field competition. Its focus remains on oversight, consistency, and institutional integrity.

Governance & Standards

All activities conducted under the Corporate Strikers banner operate within the guidelines set by the Council. These standards are designed to ensure:

  • Professional behaviour on and off the field

  • Respect for participants, officials, partners, and venues

  • Transparency in participation and operations

  • Consistency across leagues and seasons

The Council believes that strong governance is essential to building trust within the corporate community.

Relationship with the Club & Leagues

The Corporate Strikers Cricket Council functions independently while working closely with:

  • The Corporate Strikers Cricket Club — the members-led community

  • Flagship leagues such as the Corporate Strikers League (CSL)

The Council provides oversight and direction, while clubs and leagues focus on participation and execution. This separation ensures clarity of roles and long-term stability.

The Council’s vision is to establish a respected and enduring corporate cricket framework that reflects the values of professionalism, discipline, and community.

By maintaining strong governance today, the Corporate Strikers Cricket Council aims to create a foundation that supports future growth, credibility, and recognition.
